Here are some pictures of our trip. The trip started on Wed. Mar 24th. We were in the air and the captian informed us we would be going to Tulsa to refuel and wait to land in Dallas when they have cleared the bad weather. I figured that meant we would miss our connecting flight. But I really didn't even stress or worry. I thought, maybe we can see the Deckers. AND we DID. Well kinda, we didn't get to see all of them because by the time Jon (who was nice enough to drive and pick us up) had time to drive to the airport and back home it was midnight. Sadie woke up to see Rachel, and Carden probably does not remember waking up to barely open his eyes and see Tanner. We talked a while with Mandy and Jon, but we had to leave at 5am. Crazy.... We found out at the airport they had booked us to two different places. We tried to get the family all on one plane, but it just delayed things. So we didn't all end up in our Orlando Hotel until around 8PM. The day was shot, but... oh well we went to Universal islands of adventure on Friday, and hit Universal for two hours Sat. Morning. We then drove to Fort Lauderdale to get on the ship. Sunday we went to Key West and had an adventure trying to walk to church. It was FAR! so we took a Taxi after half way. Monday plans changed our trip to Tulum, so we didn't go and shopped and went to a beach on Cozumel. Tuesday our plans changed when the port closed in Grand Cayman, bummer!!! So a day at sea, and on to Jamaica... We went to Dunn River Falls and climbed the waterfalls. It was lots of fun and we were so glad we did it. Then a day at sea and on to Nassau Bahamas. We went to a beach. And we didn't get to do the snorkeling we wanted to! bummer again! Then on to Fort Lauderdale... We loved the hotel next to the beach, we took tons of pictures and relaxed and swam and enjoyed it! Sunday we listened to some of conference and made a sand castle on the beach. Monday we swam and layed in the sun, and walked a mile down the beach. It was so nice we would go back it a minute. After being on the ship for a week it was so nice to be on land and relax with no schedule. We loved our trip and everyone had the best attitude about all our change of plans! It was great!! .

Rachel's Election
The Sixth Graders had an election for 7th Grade Representative... Rachel watched last year as Ashley's group held the Elections. I think Rachel told me more about the election last year than Ashley did. I remember her coming home and saying "Kylynn Should win she's done the most work" .... So that set in Rachel's mind.... work hard. She asked me to take her to the store to buy poster board. We headed to Walmart. I stood in line to return a few items while she took off to find the poster board. She found me still waiting in line with her bright neon colored posters. She knew what she liked. We then found some stickers that matched her posters and and some paper. Back at home she worked to make things to hang on each hook, stickers to hand out to everyone, and posters to hang on the walls. She didn't give up working on it until late at night. Then came home after the 1st day and said she wanted to paint a T shirt and she also wanted wristbands to hand out. She cut and cut and wrote... vote Rachel. She was planning to paint a T-shirt with the fabric paint. But... Saw that Ashley had the bright neon shirt so asked to use it. I thought if she used washable markers then she could give it back to Ashley. She spent the night drawing and of course Jess and I wanted our turn to try.
Just before school ended I said to Ashley... I wonder what I should say to her. I don't want to upset her. Hmmm?
I opened the garage door to find her in the driveway... before I could say much she was hollering "I WON!" Wow.... I was amazed!
I knew it would be tough... because elections always are. She had a lot of friends running and that is always tough. Ashley takes credit for helping her think up slogans... and Jessica takes credit for basically everything, why? well, she did draw the symbol on her leg at the arts fest, which gave the idea for Rachel to use that symbol, and she did draw a few of those sun things. So, Rachel's success seems to be the whole family's success!! Way to Go Rachel!!!!! We are proud of your for giving it your best effort! Mom wouldn't have worked as hard as you!

Women's Conference at BYU
I just wanted to do a quick blog to say.... I love going to things that inspire me to be better. I loved Women's Conference. I was very lucky to have Cindy Pehrson and Katrina Heath go with me, we had a lot of fun. I just want to work on becoming a better person. I want to keep learning and growing and helping my family grow. I am a person that needs these lifts. I want to take every chance I get to learn and be inspired. I really hope that Women's Conference will be a tradition. I hope to keep going until I can't walk... or be wheeled around! If I had to pick one thing that comes to the top of my mind that I learned what would that be? I've been writing pages in my journal about it so hmmm? Wow... I can't say just one thing... I have to say several... I came away with a resolve to plan and schedule more fun times with Mogie, not just go out to dinner for our date. I also came away with a resolve show more, and model my beliefs of Christ. I want to express my love for the Savior more, so that my family knows how important living rightously is. I want to work harder at teaching and modeling the truths of the Gospel. I think my list will go on and on.
